USDA Organic is protected by law, inspected by experts, traced from farm to store, and shaped by public input. USDA develops and enforces the organic standards, which require products to be produced using farming practices that maintain and improve soil and water quality, minimize the use of synthetic materials, conserve biodiversity, and avoid genetic engineering, among other factors. Crops can be certified organic if they’re grown without prohibited substances such as most synthetic fertilizers and pesticides for three years prior to harvest. Livestock are raised on pasture and treated humanely without growth hormones or antibiotics. Organic products do not contain GMOs or artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Products that contain a minimum of 95 percent organic ingredients and use the USDA Organic seal are part of Climate Pledge Friendly.
365 by Whole Foods Market products give you that dance-down-the-aisles feeling, virtual aisles too! Our huge range of choices with premium ingredients at prices you can get down with makes grocery shopping so much more than tossing the basics in your cart.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I've ordered these a few times and they are hit or miss. Several times I noticed mold in them after only taking a little out. But for my order on 8.15.20, the bags came compleletely filled with mold! The expiration date isn't until November, so there is obviously an issue either in production or they are not being stored refrigerated. And someone actually picked this and put it in my order without noticing. This is disgusting and it makes me question my Amazon Fresh and 365 purchases when, looking at the reviews, this doesn't seem to be an isolated issue.
So my question is - how does Whole Foods have the best tasting shredded mozzarella? I have no idea, but it tastes the best. I sometimes order Papa Murphy's pizza and have them leave the cheese off so I can add my own WF mozza. Also for some reason their string cheese is the best ever. How does WF make mozzarella so good?? Way to go WF!
Do I need to eat faster? Lol This is really good cheese & I enjoy it on pizza but was really surprised ad disappointed that it began turning green in 20 some odd days
Something about this specific cheese that tastes so good, better than any other popular shredded mozzarella brands. When you make pizza with this cheese it’s got such a good taste and I’ve tried many different kinds of mozerellas. Wish these were cheaper in San Francisco $7.99 a bag is too much. In Los Angeles the same bag is $6.99
